Confused SC Song Girl Once Again Tex-Perplexed

A few years ago there was a bit of a scandal at USC after this picture surfaced following the Trojans loss to Vince Young and the Texas Longhorns in an epic BCS Championship Game at the Rose Bowl.

As you can see in the photo, there is a Song Girl actually celebrating a Longhorns touchdown.

Her name is Natalie Nelson, and thanks to some new photos that have surfaced on the internet it’s starting to look like Natalie didn’t make a mistake at all.  No, it’s starting to look as if Natalie was a Longhorns fan all along.

From BUSTED COVERAGE:

The Natalie Nelson traitor incident got back into mainstream news this week when Scott Wolfe at the Daily News took a question about a photo we discovered of Ms. Nelson wearing a UT jersey for Halloween.

The photos of Ms. Nelson in her jersey are from 2006. Nearly two months later she would forever be remembered as the chick who forgot her rooting interest.

And the photographic evidence.

Of course, as if this horrible transgression by Ms. Nelson isn’t enough, it does get worse.  You see her friend there in the UCLA jersey?   Yeah, she’s a Song Girl too.

Now before we go and get all Madame Defarge on these girls, let’s remember that they are cheerleaders.  You don’t have to be the brightest crayon in the box of 64 to be a cheerleader — not to say there aren’t intelligent ones — you just have to be flexible and attractive.   So it’s entirely possible that these girls have no idea what they’re doing in these photos.   Of course, it’s also possible that they’re undercover agents sent to the school by other universities to sabotage the football programs from within, which would make for a lot better Bond movie than Quantum of Solace now that I think about it.

Whatever the case may be, I’m totally willing to do further investigations on each and every one of them.   I won’t sleep until I’ve nailed investigated them all!

In that last photo, is that Matt Leinart lurking around in the background?

I get it. The girls are dressed as USC's bitter football rivals - UCLA, Cal, Texas & Notre Dame.

    Why, I do not know.

Um, guys, if the football game in question happened in January of 2006, and the costumes in question are from Halloween 2006, that means the game thing happened BEFORE the costume thing. My guess is the Song Girls made a joke out of it by dressing her up as a Texas player, then all went out dressed in other uniforms. It's really basic subtraction and the fact that I know the months — in order — that leads me to this conclusion.

She also appears to be about eight feet tall.
