A Fulton County Superior Court spokesman informed me today that the woman who initially filed for and was granted a temporary restraining order against Shannon Sharpe, Michele Bundy, has withdrawn the charges she made to obtain the order.
Sharpe is no longer required to appear in court on Sept. 20 and was never arrested or charged with a crime.
With the case dismissed, the DENVER POST reports an acquaintance of Bundy claims she was “infatuated” with the CBS commentator and recently moved to Atlanta “to be close to Shannon Sharpe’s house.” While another said, “everything knows this (the charges that led to the restraining order) is a lie.”

Last Friday I reported that Shannon Sharpe was served with a temporary restraining order by an Atlanta Court per a petition by a woman named Michele Bundy. A hearing has now been scheduled for the case at Fulton County Superior Court in Atlanta on Monday, Sept. 20. Sharpe has not been charged with a crime or been arrested.
Today I obtained Bundy’s temporary restraining order petition filed last Thursday at Fulton County Superior Court.
Bundy was granted a temporary protective order against Sharpe after accusing the CBS commentator of forcing her to have sex with him, making multiple threats on her life and stalking her. Sharpe was ordered by the Court to not contact Bundy or her immediate family and remain at least 200 yards away from her at all times.

The website for Fulton County Superior Court in Atlanta currently lists a temporary restraining order granted Thursday to a woman against former NFL player and current CBS commentator Shannon Sharpe.

The petition, filed by Michele Bundy, is classified as “Family Violence” and is currently listed as “filed.”
I talked to a Fulton County Sheriff spokeswoman Friday afternoon and she confirmed that the temporary restraining order against Sharpe had been granted by a judge but that Sharpe has not been charged with a crime or arrested. There is also no court hearing scheduled at present.
No more information on the case was immediately available as offices of Fulton County Superior Court are closed for the weekend.
Seven months ago, Bundy promoted a Facebook group that featured Sharpe’s recent bid for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The group has since been deleted.
When contacted Friday evening about the temporary restraining order against Sharpe, a CBS spokesperson had no comment.
Sharpe is also currently involved in a dispute over child support with a woman named Melinda Wilson in Atlanta-area Dekalb County Superior Court.
