UPDATE: Sahel Kazemi’s former longtime boyfriend, Keith Norfleet, in an interview with the TENNESSEAN Saturday, had this to say about Kazemi’s relationship with McNair:
“He was making her believe they were going to be together, and everything would be perfect.”
Though they were broken up, Norfleet said they’d been speaking a lot recently and she planned to break it off with McNair. He said she banged on her door early Saturday morning, but he didn’t get there fast enough.

Don’t forget about the NASHVILLE POST’s report that McNair apparently had his life threatened the morning of the murder. The Post is also now reporting that McNair was in the vehicle when Kazemi was charged with DUI two days ago, and that she was “high” and not drunk.

UPDATE: Bizarre news from the NASVHILLE POST, which reports:
According sources, a white woman in her early 20s, around 5-foot-4, approached McNair at the restaurant and accused him of slipping her a “roofie” a year ago.
The woman then told McNair, according to sources, that her boyfriend was going to kill him. Multiple sources have confirmed that this information has been shared with the Metro Police Department. Metro Police has yet to identify the dead woman, but is it unknown if the woman at the restaurant is the same woman found in the condo.
The NASHVILLE TENNESSEAN reported earlier today that a 20-year-old woman was charged with DUI two days ago in an Escalade registered to Steve McNair. The woman, Sahel Kazemi, was identified as 20 years old. (Kazemi is now confirmed as the second deceased victim found with McNair.)

Also interesting to note that the wife of McNair, Mechelle, told police today that she hadn’t seen her husband in two days.

Not even a pretty woman. Steve could have had any woman of his choice, but first a man has to divorce. Show some respect for your family even when you think you are bigger than life. Sorry fellas, Kazemi’s former boyfriend confirmed tonight that she had an intimate relationship with McNair. And the Myspace and Facebook photos are her. (There’s probably a good chance the Tennessean got the Myspace photo from SbB.)

Steve is a man in good shape, the police have not mentioned forced entry or if anything was missing. My money is on someone was let in, they shot Steve and then executed the girl. I agree with the individuals who believe this was an honor killing. The ex-boyfriend, in my opinion, knew what was going to happen. She’s a 20 year old Iranian girl, running around Nashville, with a married, black American.
My geuss is her ex-boyfriend was chosen for her by the family, she went against tradition and paid the price. The condo is in her name because steve bought it for her. The escalade is in both of their names, because he bought it for her to keep her. He kept it in his name too, so he could use that as leverage if she decided to leave him.
I feel bad for his wife, yet another man who had it all and squandered it…and for what. You guys are harsh, because I don’t think that female is ugly at all, in fact, I think she’s a very attractive girl.

I just wanted to add, that although I feel extreme sympathy for the McNair family, I believe this young girl was the victim here. She was a waitress at Dave and Busters, I think it’s obvious Steve bought her the condo and the escalade to..”buy her” so to speak.
She was only 20 years old and succumbed to a temptation that most kids that age would….comfort. And again, she was not ugly by a long shot…she was actually very cute with no makeup and even better looking with makeup.
And before all the haters come out and lambast my post, I am a black male. I have no sympathy for men who cheat on their wives and bankroll mistress’s. I believe Steve got what was coming to him, but the girl didn’t deserve this. It should have ended up a lesson for her, not a death sentence.

Friend of McNair that discovered the bodies calls another friend and then calls 911? You discover close friend has been shot and instead of calling 911 immediately, you call a frien for what, instructions on what to do?Same friend said he passed by both bodies and didn’t notice they were dead. Most athletes and celebrities (if not all) sleep around on a regular basis because of their travel, money and access to young girls crazy about stars and money. Steve is no exception and I am pretty sure this girl is not the first one. Most of their wives know this behavior and as long as the husband cares for them and dont leave them and family they will give a blind eye to these issues. The girl is young, beautiful and looking for a sugar daddy to give her money and comfort. I dont think there are many 20yr old girls who wont like expensive gifts, dinners, vacations and dont get attracted by the guy giving them to her.

I suspect that this affair was going on a quite a while. What’s fishy is the friend’s story that he came into the house and saw McNair on the sofa and girl on the floor positions and didn’t notice anything wrong? It was only after he exited the kitchen that he saw blood and called another friend instead of the police? Bottom Line: Jett Jackson deleted his myspace page. In the live press conference 15 mins ago they did not mention this. For those of you who didn’t get a chance to see his page, his last login was July 2nd, the last time reportedly that Steve’s wife last saw him and actually either of them were seen. It was reported that Steve’s car was reported arriving at the condo’s at 1:30 am on July 4th, but I would argue as to how confident someone could be that it was him.
The myspace page basically said f*** a quarterback, who is steve mcnair in 09, and rip sahel kazemi.
ULTIMATE BOTTOM LINE: Unless you can sign in on myspace, leave it idol for 48 hours, then post an update, and the update time stamp was still from 48 hours ago, then this guy knew Sahel was dead or was going to die.
Nashville police are either naive, or have this info but have not spoken about it on tv.

This story gets more and more intriquing by the minute. Yesterday on ESPN and NFL network there were HOURS of tribute to McNair via coaches, analyst, and players. I did think it seemed quite odd that it was all a tribute and very little to talking about the details. Why is it that the regular media wants to candy-coat this event by talking about how great McNair was. As a player, yes, he was a great warrior. But….his character definitely comes into play here. Don’t get me wrong, Im not without fault of mine own. Hell…Ive been with some married women. But….clearly he was making choices in his personal life that weren’t the brightest. As many have pointed out, if you want to mess around, at least get out of the marriage first. Or, if his wife knew and was ok with him cheating, she shouldnt be completely surprised by what happened. The girl was 20 without any real support in her life. A famous wealthy athlete showers her with gifts and attention. OF COURSE she is going to jump all over that. Then McNair decides to break it off, she can’t handle it and then kills him. OF COURSE the ex bf is going to not like McNair. There is a good chance McNair is the reason the two stopped dating.
As for all the confusion surrounding this tradgedy, I would say all those that are close to the situation are trying to protect McNairs image and the families involved.
I do think its quite interesting that we can get more info sooner and more reliable from blogs and message boards on the internet than we can from the main stream media.

The hero worship is on ESPN. Other outlets, like CNN, are giving us the real details of the case. It isn’t in ESPN’s best interest to report on the real story. When you make hundreds of millions in ad revenue from broadcasting NFL games, you aren’t about to report the ugly truth about your business partner.
Same thing with NFL broadcast partner FOX. Where’s Jay “Mr. Scoop” Glazer on this? Like he doesn’t know players who really know what’s going on in McNair’s life? Not saying Glazer would know who killed McNair, but he certainly could provide material news on McNair’s extra marital dalliances.

I told my family that I was dating a Puerto Rican man and before him I pretty much only dated women. When they found out my mother and aunts told me I am better of being a lesbian because they will never let me be with a Spanish man. This is how I see it.. He didn’t want to leave his wife.. she felt insulted that she gave up her innocence, families name, and life for some random affair soooo she shot and killed him then herself because she was disgusted of the whole situation.
He played her like most men they THINK they can do.. but in reality she won. He shouldn’t be remembered for the greatest things he supposedly did in football or his gratitude. The truth is he was WAY older than she was and should have known better. He has a wife at home and 4 kids to pay attention to not the kid who now is dead because he was an old pervert.

I live in nashville and worked with Kazemi. She was a good person and will be missed. McNair was a frequent customer and amazing individual. Please remember that these are real people with real grieving families…despite the terrible picture they put on this site she was a very beautiful girl.

This is very sad; and sad for our youth to see such poor examples. St. Thomas Aquanis stated (paraphrased): Our hearts will not rest until they rest in Thee (God). Very prophetic as I see many who do not maintain a relationship with God (or don’t know Him for whatever reason) completely into sex and drugs. Fassaneh…NO one deserves to be murdered for their sins. We have ALL sinned and come short of the glory of God…Why is it that we categorize sin?… SIN is SIN…Have you never lied, or envied, or cheated, etc. It is all sin! Do you deserve to be eternally punished for a mistake you made.
The Bible says…”the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life” That in NO way means a physical death, but it means to be separated from the Father forever…Are we God that we can impede judgment upon others?
What is sad, is the fact that this country wants everyone to be tolerant of their issues, but does not want to be tolerant to others…
Where were YOU to witness to McNair and his “mistress” to let them know there situation was wrong? Were you there to let them know there was a better way?
I am sure the answer to these questions is NO! Remember, “He without sin, cast the first stone.”
This can be a learning experience to us all…consequences sometimes come as a result of our actions… However, we must learn to take our way of escape during the times of trials and temptations.

I’ve read a hundred opinions on the tragic death of these two people. What seems evident is that Steve played around too much, and finally with someone who had a sordid background. You have to feel most for the McNairs as they will always be deluged with the court of public opinion on this, the stigma that it carries. I suppose that is why Jeff Fisher and others want to point out the positive aspects of his life, primarily out of respect for his family moving forward.
In the end, we can all learn the lesson that at any given moment we can turn our lives around. Perhaps, it can be argued for Steve it was too late. But this terrible tragedy only leaves many of us saddened that these two are not still alive today, if not for choices they should have made to just WALK AWAY. No one deserves to be murdered for any crime or sin. We should all make the choice NOW to “get our houses in order.” Or this life can be taken from us very unexpectedly, sometimes w/o rhyme or reason.
If any of you are ever stuck in a situation where help is needed, find someone wiser to ask for counsel. Be prepared to make difficult choices to reverse the trend. But do it for the sake of Life, bc it is too precious to leave lying on the ground covered in your own blood.

What a “shock” that a NFL “Player” (ex or otherwise) was having an affair.
With the constant media “sleuths” it is AMAZING that this “news” (i.e. McNair was having an open relationship) was never brought into the open. Kind of like Obama, who is a CHAIN SMOKER, and the Press (who are at the White House 24/7) and somehow (magically) they can never get a photo of him smoking. I guess they are too busy blogging about “I love Obama” or writing in their journal “today he looked at me…dreamy”.
Anyway the deaths of ANYONE is tragic and I pray for their family and those of children/adults around the World who never get any “press” though their lives were equally as important.
In closing, the brainwashed media PUPPETS (i.e. the current generation who has an attention span of 30 seconds) who worship these stereoid enhanced chemically altered “players” need to know that what they see on the field and in the press is FALSE/FAKE and unworthy of “idolization” (with the rare exception).

Even though her last name was a CLUE (i.e. CRAZYME) the sad fact is that two people died. One (as been reported) KILLED Steve McNair while he slept and was drunk and the other killed themselves.
May God have mercy on their souls and may God give their families the strength to come to terms with this TRAGEDY.
Emotions, and temptations, are POWERFUL things and this should be a lesson to everyone.
Our heart goes out to the familiy members during their time of grief and coming to terms.
Steve McNair did not “deserve” to die that way and I hope that the truth will completely come out and confirm that he was a VICTIM of these murderous acts.
For his wife and childrens sake you have our complete support, thoughts, and prayers.
