Last night after Braylon Edwards attended an event in Manhattan to benefit the charity of teammate Jerricho Cotchery, the New York Jet wide receiver was arrested and charged with DWI after recording a blood alcohol level twice the legal limit in the state of New York.
Here’s a montage of photos of Edwards from the event, which reportedly concluded at 9:30pm.
Edwards, who was originally pulled over in his Range Rover by New York police for a window tint violation at 5:15am, was joined by several of his Jets teammates at the event.
Two of Edwards’ Jets teammates, Vernon Gholston and D’Brickashaw Ferguson, were reportedly in Edwards’ car when he was pulled over.
Edwards has officially been charged with two misdemeanor counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and one misdemeanor count of operating a vehicle while impaired. He was released from a Manhattan court this afternoon and is due back in court November 9.
My impression of the photos? Edwards must’ve been awfully thirsty last night.
