Pacman Jones Doesn’t Really Own A Stripper Pole

In an interview on 680 AM in his hometown of Atlanta, Pacman Jones joked about having his own stripper pole, at which point the radio host quickly pointed out that Jones was not serious — just in case Roger Goodell was listening and doesn’t get self-deprecating humor.

Pacman Jones either likes strippers or Festivus

(It’s a stripper pole, for the rigamarole.)

Jones, you may remember, was suspended last year for the entire season for violating the squishy new NFL player conduct policy, and a couple weeks ago his Tennessee Titans granted him the opportunity to seek a trade. And wouldn’t this be fantastic — he wants to play for the Dallas Cowboys.

When a listener called in and asked if Jones would like to play for the Cowboys, he responded, “I would love to play for the Cowboys, America’s team.”

Wow. Terrell Owens and Mr. Jones on the same team. That’d be like … like, if Elijah Dukes and Dmitri Young were to play for the same team. If T.O. and Pacman are ever teammates, Cowboys coach Wade Phillips would probably do himself a favor and fire himself from the team before Jerry Jones gets to it first.

But just to reiterate … Jones does NOT own a stripper pole. Which is why he goes out and visits those who do have them.
