I am livid. I am outraged that Tiger Woods thinks he can continue to be a celebrity that steals the spotlight from real news, like our fallen and wounded soldiers. I am stunned that he believes he deserves “privacy” to due his own lurid actions, and still retain his celebrity status. I am sickened by Tiger’s euphimisms in his personal statement on his own website: “transgressions” for infidelity, “privacy” for secrecy, “human” for adulterer, “faults” for sins, etc. Tiger bemoans loss of privacy more than anything to deflect his own responsibility. What about loss of self, integrity, maybe even,God forbid, marriage and family? If Tiger Woods really values privacy, as he claims, then he will drop the golf tournaments and endorsements, and privately be the best damn husband and father that only Elin and their kids will ever know about. I am not bug in the world of sports but who does not know Tiger Woods? My husband is a chef in Windermere, FL and cooked for the guy but I still do not care about the mans personal life. He is good at what he does. Everyone loved him a few weeks ago because he is a good at his sport. i’m going to throw in my two cents concerning his mistake.
i’m not judging one way or the other—people in supposedly “exclusive” relationships, marriages, etc have cheated since the first pair ever decided to share a cave.
the way i see it is that its not the sleeping with so many women that causes his PR nightmare, its the type of women he chose to sleep with.
