Here are some new, previously unseen photos of Rachel Uchitel (photos), the woman who allegedly had an extramarital affair with Tiger Woods.

Today we found out that Woods and wife Elin Nordegren are refusing a police request for an interview until tomorrow.
Woods may be deliberately delaying talking to the police to avoid them seeing his injuries. If they are not consistent with his car crash, his wife could be charged with assaulting him. But if Woods does not speak to police before the 911 call is released tomorrow, he may not be able to spin how the call comes off to the public.
I still think Woods will show up to his golf tournament next week, to keep up appearances and satisfy the concerns of his sponsors. Hundreds of millions of dollars hang in the balance for the golfer, who makes his living on his trustworthy image.
TMZ has previously reported that Nordegren attacked Woods, scratching his face then smashing Woods’ SUV with a golf club. TMZ followed that with news that Nordegren then changed her story about the incident to police.
The Florida Highway Patrol has stated it will not investigate the incident as a domestic disturbance - only as a vehicle crash scene. But if Woods’ injuries are inconsistent with what Nordegren told police, that apparently could change.
Still, one wonders why the FHP chose to delay reporting any details about the incident for 12 hours - after Woods had already been released from the hospital.
In this situation, it appears the tail may be wagging the dog. That is, TMZ’s reporting is forcing the police to acknowledge the bogus car accident story and possibly pursue charges against Nordegren. Without TMZ, I’m not so sure that would be happening.
OR, Nordegren could been telling the truth and TMZ is completely wrong. What do you think?

I think it’s a bit too easy to burn a successful guy like Tiger at the stake at the first hint of weakness. As a husband myself for the past 28 years, black and white opinionating on husband and wife relations doesn’t seem to have much merit in the real world today. That being said, he makes much of his fortune from the weight of public opinion, and therefore the public interest in the story is pertinent.

Although I agree with you that female-towards-male violence is portrayed in a totally different light than male-towards-female violence, I also want to remind you that this is not feminism. In fact, it’s quite the opposite.
Feminism, firstly, does not have a list of endorsed behaviors, or commandments, for “empowered women” to follow. Think about it this way: the word ‘patriotism’ conveys only intention (pride for the country), rather than a particular action/behavior (e.g. strict immigration policy is patriotism to some, but I doubt many people would sigh, ‘damn patriots’ if the borders were closed off).
The most recent wave of feminists generally steer clear of endorsing OR condemning behavior. There simply is no singular, correct model of feminism. In fact, most writers use the word “feminisms” rather than the singular form to incorporate the variety of theories/models/waves/etc.
Rather than assume anything to do with a woman is a “feminist” response, why not ask yourself why the media seems to go bat-sh** crazy when a woman becomes an agent of violence? Why do we have some universal inability to accept woman in these positions of violent dominance? Without endorsing violence, could we ask ourselves if it’s because we believe women to have some sort of inherent weakness?

If this story is not true, I feel very bad for Tiger and his wife. I don’t like him, but it would be sad if there were no affair and they suffered like this. Both ways, I feel for the wife. She can’t know if he did or not if publications are saying that they have proof of an affair. I would go nuts, too, if I were her. If he DID have an affair, then he is the jerk I thought he was. I sort of don’t think he had one, though. It’s just a feeling.

If it was Tiger who was reported to have used the club on his wife, would be Michael Vicked by now and gone to the doghouse of public opinion long before he made any statement to defend himself. This woman appears to be combustible like a rocket fuel. Scratching her husbands face and golf-clubbing his car and sending him to hospital? My goodness. I feel sick. Once again, I don’t think this is the setting to have a conversation like this, but I think you need to read my comment more carefully. For the sake of clarification, my point was and still is:
*I agree. I think the different treatment given to female perpetrators, as opposed to male perpetrators, is ridiculous and unacceptable.
*I agree. Female-towards-male violence vs. male-towards-female should be treated the same. Violence is violence, and should not be gendered.
*I agree. If the allegations are true, Elin should be treated with the same hostility & punishment that Chris Brown received.
*I agree. If Tiger Woods had been the perpetrator, these stories would have entirely different headlines. He’d be dropped faster than any other athlete. And yes, I agree, this is unfair and one-sided.

I just now saw a report on ESPN that said Tiger’s wife Elin reported earlier today that Tiger was taking Ambien and another pain killer the day they had their altercation.

I don’t understand why the police are involved. Has anyone filed a complaint? Has anyone sworn a warrant? It was a single car accident. Did anyone file a police report? Did anyone file for damages to the insurance company, which would require a police report? I think there are lots of people involved in this that don’t need to be. If an unknown individual had this happen, would the police be involved? For what purpose?
