Jim Harbaugh Cheap Shots Michigan Football Program Over Academics

ATTN JIM HARBAUGH - WE THINK WE FOUND YOUR WALLET: Perhaps like you, I haven’t had a chance to congratulate Jim Harbaugh on being named Bradford M. Freeman Director of Football at Stanford:

Jim Harbaugh

I’m thinking Michigan football fans are now beginning to fantasize about Harbaugh some day wresting the reigns away from Lloyd Carr and upgrading the Wolves’ 7th century-dated offensive playbook. But then, those same fans probably haven’t read his recent comments about U of M’s questionable handling of football players: “Michigan is a good school and I got a good education there, but the athletic department has ways to get borderline guys in and, when they’re in, they steer them to courses in sports communications. They’re adulated when they’re playing, but when they get out, the people who adulated them won’t hire them.

Jim Harbaugh

Not exactly a shocking revelation, but why the cheap shot by Harbaugh at his alma mater? Then again, the former black-shoed Colts QB does have a track record of bad decisions and a regrettably faulty memory.
