Early Tuesday Charles Robinson and Jason Cole of Yahoo Sports reported that, “the Heisman Trophy Trust is expected to strip former University of Southern California star running back Reggie Bush of college football’s top honor by the end of September. … sources said the trust will relieve Bush of the award and leave the honor for that season vacant.”

(Follow Brooks on Twitter for daily, real-time updates)
In response to the Yahoo report, Heisman Trophy Trust Executive Director Rob Whalen released the following statement:
“Yahoo Sports claiming Heisman Trust has reached a decision is completely false. The Heisman Trophy Trust has made no decision regarding the Reggie Bush matter.”
The Heisman Trust reportedly does not have a regularly-scheduled meeting in September though Robinson and Cole noted that the investigation into the Bush situation had not yet concluded.
The Yahoo reporters also didn’t necessarily report that a final decision on the status of Bush’s Heisman with the Trust had already “been reached.” Only that the outcome would be determined before the end of the month.
From the carefully-worded Yahoo piece, it appears that Robinson and Cole may have anticipated this sort of denial from the Heisman Trust. One wonders if the exposure of the Trust’s alleged sentiment may actually end up affecting the outcome of what ultimately happens with Bush’s award.
UPDATE: Heisman Trust President William Dockery released his own statement on the matter.
September 7, 2010
The status of the USC / Bush matter remains unchanged. Any reports to the contrary are inaccurate. Please refer to July 2010 statement below.

Maybe it’s Rashaan Salaam’s Heisman they want back.
5:33 pm on September 7th, 2010
Get a Life He was the best that year and that’s that! No VY you were not the best not even close in the classroom either Dawg!!! Learn to speak properly first instead of from the Hood!!!
5:35 pm on September 7th, 2010
Take it back since it was bought and paid for. Or let him keep it and the heisman curse will be proven once again.
5:51 pm on September 7th, 2010
Made a racial issue out of it? Yes, then you are a World Class MORON. BUSH KNEW HE WAS ENDANGERING HIS SCHOOL, BREAKING EVERY NCAA RULE THAT MATTERED. HE KNEW IT WAS WRONG. HE WAS BEHAVING AS A NFL PRIMA DONA IN SCHOOL! TAKE THE TROPHY AND LEAVE IT BLANK, NO ONE WON THAT YEAR.

I am seriously considering up my current career and becoming a sports journalist.
Its the perfect job, you can just make up work, not be held accountable and still earn a pay check - not too mention get your face on ESPN(and thats not saying much).
Charles Robinson and Jason Cole should be held accountable for their poor work, although I have seen worse.
This isn’t even sports journalism, its guess/hop journalism. if they worked for me, the next story they wrote would start with the title “resignation” as that would be the only thing left for them to do.
6:11 pm on September 7th, 2010
Dangerous ground…..If the report has some validity to it. The “Trust” should consider how many other Heisman trophies they may need to take back, because of unscrupulous or questionable dealings with agents. I am pretty sure if somebody dug deep enough, they could probably implicate most of the past winners. Reggie Bush is not the first, and will not be the last.
6:19 pm on September 7th, 2010
The bottom line is Bush broke NCAA rules. Its not about how good of a footbal player he is. HE BROKE THE RULES. If he had not done anything wrong there would be no questions to be answered and I wouldn’t be wasting my time leaving this reply. He doesn’t deserve it. HE BROKE THE RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
6:35 pm on September 7th, 2010
Doesn’t matter at all now. Concentrate on the ones coming up.
6:59 pm on September 7th, 2010
O J ??????????????????????
7:05 pm on September 7th, 2010
Let him keep it…………just put an asterist on it………like baseball. I now look up to cheaters. I guess I have to teach my kid everything I was brought up with and tought growing up is B.S. Cheat, lie, steal…..dosnt matter. PHUCK ALL OF THEM !!!!!!!!!
7:08 pm on September 7th, 2010
That mistake he made did not change how reggie played he should keep the trophy. It is hard to not accept things when u are not in the position to do so just say no ….HE was a have not. I CAN TRUELY UNDERSTAND. Keep helping us Reggie get the true trophy.
7:08 pm on September 7th, 2010
As long as O.J. retains his trophy, no consideration should ever be given to removing someone else’s!
7:15 pm on September 7th, 2010
When Pete Carroll returns his paycheck for that year, and the USC sports juggernaut returns the gate receipts and TV money, then they can demand that Reggie return his trophy. He’s the only one who EARNED anything.
7:29 pm on September 7th, 2010
Leave OJ out of this…you’re comparing apples to oranges. I don’t think they should take the trophy from Reggie and vacate that year. If they take it…they must award it to the runner up. All the money in the world couldn’t make Reggie any better, he was already that good. Try throwing a dollar at a turd…it’s still a turd.
7:32 pm on September 7th, 2010
so dave, tell us what the #%@& OJ has to do with this, and why his should even be considered to be taken away. oh, and think Reggie should be able to keep his.
7:35 pm on September 7th, 2010
I agree with Be Honest. As my Dad would say “Don’t write a check you cannot cash”. Put it simply to you slow sportscasters; you may not want the public to ask The Trust to look into all the Heisman’s given out to ensure everyone played by the rules. Reggie Bush should have known better; he knew that he would be suspect in breaking the “RULES”;
7:59 pm on September 7th, 2010
everyone is a kook!

Well, if it happens and he does get stripped, you can bet your bottom dollar that it wont stop at Reggie Bush.
8:25 pm on September 7th, 2010
Bush made a joke out of USC and college football and in order to repair some damage and make it right with the 99% of the other,s you have to take away the Hesiman and enforce what it stands for not a dirty little cheat who did not give a dam about his teammate or school, who ruin the ives of other’s and disgrace the honesty and interghrity of a school!!!
8:33 pm on September 7th, 2010
Issue is that he did and knowly break the NCAA rules. he did as any of the arrogant individuals like him do. Is it right? NO and what message are we sending to the kids of America. It’s okay to lie cheat and steal as long as you can perform an athletic skill? Hey you could even become a member of a corrupt presidential cabinet, but it’s okay because you are working for the President.
8:52 pm on September 7th, 2010
Why take it now ? He’s still a millionaire, I’m sure he doesn’t care. Give me a few millions and I’ll gladly give you the trophy back. What they need to take is some of the money he’s making now. To pay the poor guys who played on his team and only got a ring and the satisfaction of know they were ncaa champs. Now they have nothing
8:53 pm on September 7th, 2010
to bad that scum bag pete carroll walks away unpunished leaves the program in ruins and skips to the nfl and nothing is done about. what a piece of garbage. if i ever run in to him ill spit in his face and see if hes man enough to do anything about it
8:57 pm on September 7th, 2010
Here’s the thing… baseball has messed up its image by hangin on the past booboo’s of over priced athletes. The NCAA should not do that. What’s happened has happened. But from this point forward… make penalties damn harsh! The NFL should be a part of it! Pete Carroll should be tossed in the Pacific! Reggie was a well paid victim and Pete got a pass! Let Reggie retain what he earned! Afterall… it wasn’t great coaching that won it… it was an amazing athlete!!!
9:05 pm on September 7th, 2010
Unbelievable that punks write up false info and claim it to be true and are not thrown in jail for defamation! The media is full of a bunch of wanna-be’s and have-nots and are a practical joke. There is no way they’ll pull an award a kid earned on the field and were voted on by the Know-how’s. Outa here
9:08 pm on September 7th, 2010
It is our moral and ethical obligation to select individuals that will be mentors and role models for the youth following in their foot steps. He broke the rules, he knew right from wrong and he MUST be held accountable.
The time is NOW to show our children that it does not pay to break rules.

Not only bush but lets look at the recent conduct of some of the NFL players of late. The dogs the gun running.and of course the doping What are we turning into a bunch of Boy scouts
9:22 pm on September 7th, 2010
What happened to the sports agent in all of this. He should banned from representing anything in sports for 10 years for doing anything under the table.
9:29 pm on September 7th, 2010
so does this mean they will have to pick someone else from that year to be the winner?
9:30 pm on September 7th, 2010
An if so who should it be?
9:31 pm on September 7th, 2010
Who gives a #$%*! Are they going to take away the rookie contract her signed for MILLIONS???? NO!!! Reggie doesn’t care that he broke the rules and USC is getting punished….he got his and that’s all he cares about!
9:37 pm on September 7th, 2010
oh and those people who keep saying OJ needs to return his are MORONS! OJ is a scumbag whose crime had NOTHING to do with football. Reggie shouldn’t have been playing. No play=no trophy.
9:40 pm on September 7th, 2010
He should lose his trophy. Amazing how people think that athletes that cheat should not pay a price…….whether pro or amateur. Rules are rules. If he was ineligible, then USC would NOT have won the games it did……….or Bonds hit as many Home runs as he did…………it all this is ok, then put Pete Rose in the MLB Hall of Fame……….
Funny how celebs just think they can get away with everything……..and why, because they can. 90% of college basketball and football players should NOT even be in college. Dumb as dirt and could not pass a SAT exam if they tried. Maybe the NCAA should just pull up SAT scores from ALL schools and see who should be in school. Nope, that will not happen. Too much money and to much racial political correctness. I love seeing Boise beat VA Tech. VA Tech looked like they fielded the entire team from a local prison. Go Boise.
9:46 pm on September 7th, 2010
Why are we getting on Reggie Bush. Let’s look at the NCAA it’s their rule that a player can make money, yet the school gets big bucks, the coach gets big bucks, the conference gets big bucks, the sports agents get bigh bucks and the poor student athlete gets what?????? The tropy is for the best player in the country. And he was the best player that year. Did the committee ask was he paid…NO!!!! Why is the committee following the NCAA rules? Get over it let the man keep the trophy and tell the NCAA to stick its rules where the sun doesn’t shine.
9:48 pm on September 7th, 2010
When you give something to someone, regardless, you cannot take it back…period. They need to come up with a better ‘process’ in the first place then before even handing out a Heisman. You just cannot give someone something like that then demand it back. You picked the wrong person? too bad.
10:03 pm on September 7th, 2010
Somewhere in the middle of this discussion someone said that “he”( Reggie) broke the rules and it has nothing to do with talent or his accomplishments on the field. So I am wondering what is the Heisman for? Yeah, anyone have answer for me, cause last time I checked people VOTED for this based on stats, therefore making it ALL about “on” the field and NOTHING about “off” the field. And then someone else stated that several people have probably taken “gifts” or whatever you want to call them. WE ARE HUMAN, of course they take “goodies”.
10:07 pm on September 7th, 2010
When do the people handing out the cash to these vulnerable young men get punished? Also, lets take back MVP’S, Cy Youngs, Superbowl Rings, Tennis Championships, and Golf Titles for bad behaviour. Lets not forget the Tour de France, MMA, Grammy awards, Emmy’s,and Academy awards. I guess we can’t include all of these, there are too many non minorities involved.
10:20 pm on September 7th, 2010
Let them take back the trophy. He has the greatest award……. A SUPERBOWL RING.
10:25 pm on September 7th, 2010
It would be a shame to leave the HEISMAN blank for that year. I believe the second person should be given the trophy and what ever else comes with it and Bush should have to pay back any thing he spent.
10:27 pm on September 7th, 2010
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU TRY TO MAKE ROLE MODELS OUT OF PPL WHO ARE NOT….INCLUDING THE JOURNALIST…PERSONALLY I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE TROPHY ITS BS ANYWAY…BUT BOTTOM LINE SOMEWHERE ALONG THE LINE JUST ABOUT ALL WINNERS ACCEPTED SOMETHING…..SHAME ON THE NCAA AND THE TRUST…
10:31 pm on September 7th, 2010
Got an idea here, let’s let him keep it if he’ll turn over all the xxxx rated tapes him and Kim Kardashian shot. o yea and not charge us.
10:51 pm on September 7th, 2010
Lets see a trophy that will collect dust in a case and a Superbowl ring on your finger. I think 90% of the population really doesn’t care if they take it away and give it to someone else. It(the trophy) will always be his in his mind and everyone else. Seriously……. does anyone remember who #2 was? Taking it away will cement his name further and make him bigger than he already is! Though if they are going to do that an investigation should be done on every guy that ever won. Fair is Fair, right is right and truth is truth. You hang him then the only way for the board not to look evil is to hang anyone else that is questionable….. Jeez, I don’t even like collage ball.
10:58 pm on September 7th, 2010
Did he take performance enhancing drugs? That would affect his play on the field. Isn’t that what the trophy is for? I don’t think money made him play any better.
11:00 pm on September 7th, 2010
Let’s see, OJ killed two people and still officially has his (even though he sold it). But Reggie has to give his up?!? So I guess as long as you don’t kill anyone while IN college, you’re golden.
11:10 pm on September 7th, 2010
They’ve already ruled that Bush and his family got illegal benefits from USC and the recruiters that got him there. But that doesn’t mean that his play on the field didn’t warrant the trophy. I don’t think it would matter where he was playing; he still would have been a contender if not a winner. One situation should not influence the other.
SeHam also had a good point–if they’re going to take back Bush’s Heismann, does that mean the trust is going to look back at ALL the past winners and look for under-the-table dealings? Are they going to take back ALL those Heismann trophies in those cases? BEcause, let’s be honest, there have to be several cases like this. If they’re not going to be equal and take them all back, then they should not take Reggie’s.
Doesn’t really matter in RB’s case anyway–thanks to this story, he’s already been tried, convicted, and will serve a life sentence in the Prison of Public Opinion.
11:11 pm on September 7th, 2010
have we lost all of our common sense. Reggie was the best there was that year. The NCAA is worse than our goverment
11:15 pm on September 7th, 2010
@Gladtosay, what exactly do you mean when you say most basketball and football players shouldn’t be in college since they are ‘dumb as dirt’, and you follow that up with, “it would appear racist to pull SAT scores”. Are you saying those dumb atheletes are minorities? Are you excluding the nonminority athletes from your dumb as dirt grouping?
11:20 pm on September 7th, 2010
The ENTIRE school needs to be looked at. These athletes are making money for the schools ‘hand over fist’. I’m not advocating breaking the rules, but put yourself in their shoes…you can’t because you’ve never had to wrestle with walking away from large amounts of money that could possibly help out your family, who just might be struggling to make ends meet. Don’t be so quick to judge, it’s really very ugly.
11:20 pm on September 7th, 2010
This is so funny… Why is the NCAA worried about Reggie Bush when he plays in the NFL and makes millions of dollars and won a Super Bowl… I think they need to be worried about whats going on right now in the NCAA and not try to correct their past mistakes. Its so funny and sad how the NCAA always does this non sense. Does anyone else agree how crooked they are? who even cares. since it was in 2005, need to worry about whats going now when they should be focused on the present and clearing up things now…
11:21 pm on September 7th, 2010
It doesn’t matter what he did off the field, it is what counts what he did on the field. He earned the trophy on the field so let him keep it. Prosecute him for the crap that he did off the field along with his parents who knew what they were doing was wrong at the expense of their son….
11:27 pm on September 7th, 2010
I should have said RG, not gladtosay. Gladtosay, I actually agree with you. It was RG that made the ridiculous comment about SAT Scores and Racial overtones. And then says VA Tech’s basketball team looks like they came from the local prison. Wow, some people are filled with such stupidity.
11:36 pm on September 7th, 2010
With a lot of thought, I find THIS to be a perfect answer. None of the current active players at USC should have to pay for the transgressions of an alumnist. If the Commish deems it necessary to revoke a number of scholarships for FOOTBALL, giving way to other schools….fine. Bowl bids should be allowed for today’s working athletes, but all monies “earned” should be forfeit to a charity (outside California). Reggie should be disallowed any personal chrity HE sponsors for the duration of the NCAA penalty….nuff said. He was the BEST in ‘05…sorry VY and my Longhorns.
11:48 pm on September 7th, 2010
Regarding the above comments referencing O.J. Simpson’s Heisman:
Could eveyone please quit referring to a killer as O.J.? The least we can do for Ron and Nicole is to refer to their murderer as Simpson, not as O.J.!
11:48 pm on September 7th, 2010
Sorry bob, USC did not give “illegal benefits” to Bush or his family. It was a deal between ghetto rats that turned sour. College Football or Basketball for that matter is no longer about scholastic achievement. It is about who will get the professional contract. It is outrageous that one ignorant misguided narcissist could destroy the honor of one of the best Universities in the world.
11:51 pm on September 7th, 2010
Anonymous, You couldn’t have said it better!
12:07 am on September 8th, 2010
BS at its best! The issue is about money, all the guilty parties get to keep theirs. All the innocent parties (current and future players) get penalized. And there is supposed to be a lesson here somewhere?
12:18 am on September 8th, 2010
nmviper, VERY well put! It is unfair to penalize the current players at USC particularly when this had NOTHING to do with Reggie coming to USC and everything about him leaving..The NCAA rules need an overhaul!!!! Please remember when Jim Thorpe lost an Olympic gold metal in basketball for receiving $25 a week for playing basketball to support himself. It was; later given back to his family after he died. Today the Dream Basketball Team in the Olympics makes tens of millions of dollars a year and it is permissible…The rules changed and the NCAA needs to change too!!!
12:19 am on September 8th, 2010
BOTTOM LINE MORONS, if he had been caught that year he would not have been on the field to win such a award, he KNEW what he was doing would come back to hurt USC and he did it anyway. He was only thinking of himself, his NFL career, his millions of dollars and winning a National Championship, BUT TEXAS KICKED HIS ASS!
12:21 am on September 8th, 2010
ITS FUNNY THAT ALL OF THE PEOPLE OUT THERE JUDGING BUSH HAS NEVER SINNED LOL IM NOT SAYING WHAT HAPPEN WAS RIGHT IM JUST SAYING JESUS SAID THOSE WHO HAVE NEVER SINNED CAST THE 1st STONE LOL BECAUSE GOD KNOWS IVE MADE PLENTY OF MISTAKES BUT I FORGOT YOU ALL HAVENT MADE A MISTAKE CHECK YOURSELVES
12:26 am on September 8th, 2010
LOL YES TEXAS KICK USC ASS BUT THATS OK BECAUSE TEXAS GOT THEIR ASSES KICK BY BAMA SO YOU LONG HORNS KNOW THE FEELING BUT TEXAS DONT KNOW WHAT 11 WINNING CHAMPIONSHIPS IN FOOTBALL FEELS LIKE SC DOES
12:35 am on September 8th, 2010
If Reggie is being punished for off the field behavior, than take OJ’s trophy back too. Reggie was a kid who was influenced by some low life PIMP ASS AGENTS. He made millions of dollars for the Pac 10 conference, the Bowls that he played in, the TV networks and radio stations that carried SC GAMES, the non conference teams SC played against. Thousands of businesses that surrounded the stadiums he played in. He was the star of college football the year he won the trophy. His game breaking skills provided millions of people with a lot of excitement and thrills watching him play the game.
I’m not condoning his actions off the field at all. But let’s look at all the positive aspects of REGGIO BUSH too.. And who really who benefited his mistakes, his parents and the PIMP ASS AGENTS who should be banned for life.. So Reggie won a trophy, He deserved it and now at what cost. To be attacked by people who don’t think of the many people who he helped make millions for. Like Pat Haddens USC. What a hypocrite. USC is paying him with the money Reggie made. If not Pat, , then alot of their professors. Hell, until three weeks ago, USC had Reggie Bush on their flashing billboard on the 110 freeway hyping the selling of season tickets. All of you attackers are like Pat Hadden, your a hypocrite too, if you think about it. Stop attacking a start remembering!!
12:38 am on September 8th, 2010
Take it back haha. That is simply retarded. The Restrictions of Life these days. Can’t talk to an agent during College. But if he didn’t talk to the agent he wouldn’t have won the Heisman. Sounds right doesn’t it??? NO! Talent and Perserverance won it. Not talkin about money and the NFL. Take it Back…. Really??? He was born with football talent. He didn’t gain talent from talking to some agent. RETARDED!
1:04 am on September 8th, 2010
How about this, If Reggie has to give back his trophy, then Pete Carroll needs to give back cash as well as the admin. This is bull how they continue to attack these college kids who take money. Most of them come from poor places with a full ride to some very high profile school. The problem with that is all the kids around them have all these nice things their parents pay for. Laptops, fully furnished dorms, a car and what not. These guys get a free education and nothing else. yes, they give them a dumb campus job that does nothing for them. So someone comes at you with a couple hundred grand, are you going to take it? of course you are especially when your parents never will see that money working for 15-20 years. So if you are going to attack the ones who bust their ass and often injure themsleves beyond repair. Then you also need to go to the ones who make millions from these kids. 5 million a year COLLEGE coach? give me a Fing break….
1:47 am on September 8th, 2010
how can you take it back? Whether he broke rules or not..nothing impacted how he played on Saturday..He was the Heisman winner because he was the best…not because he broke the rules…there is no arguement there.
7:33 am on September 8th, 2010
The NCAA is a joke. Where does all the money go? The universities get richer, the coaches get richer and the athletes get injured. Look at the percentage of players that ever make a dime professionally. It’s very low and God forbid if they should take any compensation. Isn’t it strange that a young hockey player or baseball player can play professionally as soon as they feel they are ready but basketball and football players have to serve time as unpaid laborers before making any money. Are we really supposed to believe that Reggie Bush is the first Heisman trophy winner that ever got paid while he was in school.
7:36 am on September 8th, 2010
He broke the rules,Clinton,Edwards to mention a few broke the rules. What did they get A big NADA! Iran breaks the rules,N. Korea breaks them too,as do so many others that affect lives. Reggie, gimme a break he’s not costing lives he’s a football player, and a good one. Go address important issues u losers!!!!!!!
7:59 am on September 8th, 2010
For all the dumb comments he was the beat player hands down in 2005 there is no curse he won a superbowl and is a great NFL player any team would want him. Lets go get OJ Heisman too while were at it. If your going to take it from him than take it from every heisman winner that excepted gifts the Down town athletic club would be empty.
8:11 am on September 8th, 2010
Enough already! Make Bushwhack an example!! Strip the Heisman, ban him from the NFL, and at least 3 years in prison. We need to send a message to cheaters!!
8:16 am on September 8th, 2010
Through the media Reggie Bush appears a humble, competive, and genuine nice guy. He was voted the best college football player in 2005, and he was. College atheltes don’t have the money to hire lawyers to interpet all the ncaa polices, they go about their business. He, his family broke some policy rules, not laws of the land. Yet, Michael Vicks, who doesn’t come across in the media as a humble, sincere, and nice guy, broke laws spent time in jail, federal jail-2 1/2 years-big whoop. No one knows how many dogs he killed, tortured, and maimed-he himself personnelly. Now he’s playing football for millions again. He should of been thrown to the street forced to make a living with his so called college degree? Like the 95% of all the other college graduates do. We had a man in this state that slashed the throats of 5 puppies, 4 died, he recieved 5 years for each dog he killed. Why because he lacked money-had a public defender. Reggie Bush 5 years later having his honor stripped is just so rediculous. He’ll always be the best college football player of 2005. Double standards-a high school student recieves a scholarship for music, math, english, or science, yet they’re not held to any rules similar to that of the ncaa. The muscian may perform at different venues for cash, the math, english, or science student may take paying internship jobs at large or small corporations. All no problem. WHERE IS THE JUSTICE?
10:41 am on September 8th, 2010
the OJ comparison is irrelevant because he didnt kill anyone while in college–Bush broke the rules while still a player.
11:26 am on September 8th, 2010
So when will Jason Cole be held accountable for the poor reporting he is conducting.
This is the third story in a month that he has gotten wrong or incorrectly reported.
Favre and Childress, Revis to leave the Jets, and now Reggie’s heisman.
I understand being contrarian, but being wrong is something else.
12:49 pm on September 8th, 2010
oj can lop of his ex-wifes head and keep his but reggie bush takes a few benefits and they want to condemn him…..really…..what a joke….
2:12 pm on September 8th, 2010
Just when are you folks gonna wake up ???? OJ didn’t do it……
Bryant Gumble did it…..Ya see, Bryant was sleeping with the Waiter, and he sees his dearly beloved with this Blonde Bitch, and flying into a rage, he screams, “Die Deborah Norville”. and stabs the crap outta both of them…..
Then, flipping them over, he realizes his mistake, “Oh wow, it’s OJ’s ole lady….Hey !! My Brother Greg has always coveted OJ’s Sportscasting slots….since Greg has had a long affair with Cato, the houseguest, they get onto the Estate to plant evidence and drop beaucoup micrograms of LSD into OJ’s coffee before he flies to Chicago (He was still coming down off a bad trip during the Bronco Chase) They pay off Det. Fuhrman lotsa bucks to help plant evidence, (which he used for down payment on the Hayden Lake Ranch in White Supremacist Idaho)…Then, Fuhrman figgers if he screws up testamony and OJ gets off, he can Blackmail Bryant and Greg forever !!!!
BTW, the missing piece of evidence in “the mystery envelope” is a jeweled cock ring engraved inside with, “To my beloved Ronnie, my bitch, Love, Bryant”.

4:17 am on September 19th, 2010
Another example of the ignorance of Charles Robinson and Jason Cole. Yes Reggie has now forfeited the award but it was NEVER stripped. The Yahoos are yahoos again. Arrogant moron writers.
Secondly we have domistic violence cases and armed robbery and players with loaded guns STILL playing college football. But Reggie was a ineligiblel because his parents accepted money ? PALLLESE ! He was and WILL REMAIN the best player in college football that year. Who gives a dam what they take. Reality is on the football field !
