Big news out of UFC yesterday was that Brock Lesnar has dropped out of UFC 106 on Nov. 21 because of a serious illness.
(Might want to go with the fist bump)
Dana White told Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports: “He said it’s been going on for a long time and he just hasn’t been able to shake it.”
Lesnar’s training partner Chris Tuchscherer told the LAS VEGAS SUN that Lesnar’s serious illness has been present for 25 days.
(Las Vegas Sun reported Lesnar had “upper respiratory” illness)
If that’s the case, why was Lesnar down on the field making a public appearance at a Vikings games nine days ago? Video after the jump.I don’t doubt that Lesnar is too ill to get ready for his Nov. 21 against undefeated Shane Carwin, but you would’ve thought that his management would’ve either realized that he was too sick to appear at the Vikings game or not told White that he’s been deathly ill for a “long time.”
I’m not even going to bring up that Lesnar could be ducking Carwin.
Whoops, I guess I just did.

MMA Fighters have to train for a long time before each fight to get in to fight shape and make weight. He was sick and couldn’t train for this fight.

This blog loses whatever credability a f***ing blog can even have, by the day. Hey a**hole…..it never said he was BED-RIDDEN for 25 days, did it? No. It said he was sick. He could have felt better for a couple of days and then got sick again.
Shocking theory, I know. It’s not like things like cancer ever go into remissions and then come back. Oh wait….what’s that you say Doctor? Cancer does? Well surely the flu can’t be that magical, can it? I know a co-worker who had H1N1 for a week…..got better….then got it again a week later.
But hey, if you ever took that into consideration, you wouldn’t be a very good blogger, talking sh*t and nonsense behind a keyboard.

My god Brooks, I know you hate Dana White and all, but this is such a bs story you lose credibility trying to make it one.
He made a public appearance,….while being sick. Happens everyday.

Shane Carwin had swine flu but never backed out.

So now we know what it looks like for an MMA fighter AND an internet commenter (#2) to experience roid rage.

Jason and Beer-Run,
Looks like voters disagree with you. By a lot. Welcome to the (distinct) minority.

Jason: Which McDonald’s do you work at? I just want to make sure I steer clear of it for a couple of weeks to avoid your co-workers contaminents.
Also, there’s something else long and hard you and Brock can blow on.

That’s why he attended. So he could blow the sickness right out his body using that giant horn thing. It’s a homeopathic remedy. I said HOM-EO. And it worked. Of course everybody at the game then got it, but so what.

What’s with all these “I’ve got a stick up my ass” posts recently? Get off your high horse every once in a while.

Looks like about 70% of you were wrong, anyways it just proves that you should wait for the facts to come out before opening your mouth and giving your uneducated opinions.

Unless your his doctor, or dana, shouldnt you all STFU as you dont know whats really going on? Its probably dana hype as usual. They will do an intern championship match, then brock will suddenly get better and then the big fight again bringing in mega bucks for UFC. Its WWE minus the fake fights. Simple as that you dumbshits.
