WE PREFER MUCH LESS COVERAGE IN RIVALS’ REPORTING: Yahoo Sports is the only giganto sports website we visit, thanks to a more understated, measured approach. The site columnists give us everything and more that the grandstanding, me-first cartoon characters at ESPN.com - without the involuntary audio, RAM-robbing pop-ups, takeover screens and Mike and Mike annoying Ad du jour (no Greenberg, my foot odor really isn’t that bad).

Though with the addition of Rivals.com content, we find the site to be a top-heavy in the college football department.

But we’ll take Ashley Russell over the unintentionally ironic boobs in Bristol any day. (Click on the pics below for larger versions.)
UPDATE: THE BIG LEAD reports today that Yahoo Sports passed ESPN.com in visitors last month. And TBL has another link to Russell, who we think may soon become an internet sensation (without the arrogant, fake protestation and rapist-defending lawyer father).

Who is Ashley Russell and why is she doing the sports? The last person I want to get my sports information from is a woman. Much less a clueless one. Take away her tele-prompter and she wouldn't know a field goal from a home run. Get a guy in there who can get a feel for what's on the inside not just read word on a paper and look cute.

Who care why she is doing the sports. She is the one reporting and not you. How do you know that she is clueless? Do you know her? Take away most tele-prompters and everyone reporting on tv would sound like a fool. As for the comment to,”get a guy in there who can get a feel……” sounds to me like you have some latent tendencies. You should go look in the closet and see if you can find them.
