*UPDATE*: More new photos of Simona Halep after breast reduction surgery have been posted.
In late April I first posted year-old photos of Romanian teen Simona Halep competing at the 2008 French Open. Since then, the exact same photos have swept around the world - and subsequently led to the European media hounding Halep about the incredible size (and buoyancy!) of her breasts.
Halep, sadly, did not take kindly to the SbB-wrought media crush and soon proclaimed that she was going to have breast-reduction surgery.
And as it turns out, she was serious. The first post-op photo of her after the jump.
I confess that I’m aghast at her decision, but remember we’re talking about a 17-year-old girl from ROMANIA. Cut her some slack kids.
Czech Republic though? Might’ve been a different story.
I’ll leave it to a previous commenter on a Simona story posted in a Romanian online periodical to sum up what we’re all thinking:

i just became a fan of her on the first of july when i first saw her photos then the stories about the reduction happening in the fall, then the very next f**king day, i read the other story about even more post reduction photos, i mean shes still quite cute, but like, is this what i get for being atheist, now god hates me? also, who knows how long it’ll take her too even get above her previous tennis ranking, rly sad…

Such a shame. If I were a man with very broad shoulders, I won’t reduce them, because I know that They are God’s gifts and mean advantages.
I understand all the people who handicapped, therefore want to be fit, but I don’t understand women/girls who make this unintelligible decision.
Most of the men like big boobs, so she has the pull over the other women/girls, therefore she can pick and choose any boyfriend (not just a sex partner, a boyfriend).
Now, She is just a girl, and just a tennis player. Perhaps she is a lesbian or just an idiot who couldn’t see the advanteges of these boobs.

So many female body builders burn off their breasts fat

I just commented on this yesterday (your original post) and even mentioned that I don’t think there is anything that can help support her. I however never thought she would have had surgery, but the again she is only 17, so I guess she was still developing?
